Research Use Policy

This Research Use Policy applies to products identified by Apep Biolabs as research-use materials. It is intended to clarify the permitted purpose of those products and the conditions under which Apep Biolabs offers them for sale.

1. Research Use Only

Products designated as research-use materials are offered solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, and scientific research purposes.

They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, administration, diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.

2. Customer Acknowledgment

By purchasing a research-use product from Apep Biolabs, you represent and acknowledge that:

You are at least 18 years old.
You are purchasing the product for a lawful laboratory, analytical, or scientific research purpose.
You will not use or direct the product for human or veterinary administration or consumption.
You will comply with applicable federal, state, local, institutional, and other legal requirements governing possession, handling, storage, transfer, and use.
You will not misrepresent the intended use or regulatory status of an Apep Biolabs product.

3. Prohibited Uses

Research-use products may not be purchased, used, promoted, distributed, or transferred by a customer for a prohibited purpose, including:

Human or veterinary administration or consumption.
Diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of disease.
Use as a drug, medicine, therapeutic product, or veterinary treatment.
Use in a manner that violates applicable law or regulation.
Resale or promotion using false, misleading, or unsupported claims concerning human health effects.

4. No Dosing or Administration Guidance

Apep Biolabs does not provide dosing instructions, injection instructions, treatment protocols, medical protocols, or individualized guidance regarding human or veterinary administration of research-use materials.

Any product-handling or storage information provided by Apep Biolabs is intended solely to support lawful research handling and preservation of research materials.

5. No Medical or Veterinary Advice

Information provided by Apep Biolabs is not medical or veterinary advice and should not be interpreted as a recommendation to use any research material in humans or animals.

6. Product Specifications and Testing

Product specifications, purity statements, identity information, certificates of analysis, and other testing information should be read in connection with the specific batch or lot to which the documentation applies.

A test result or specification for one batch should not be assumed to apply to another batch unless Apep Biolabs expressly states otherwise.

Apep Biolabs does not represent that research-use materials are FDA-approved drug products or approved for human or veterinary administration.

7. Order Review and Refusal

Apep Biolabs reserves the right to refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe that:

The purchaser intends a prohibited use.
Information supplied by the purchaser appears false or misleading.
Fulfilling the order may violate applicable law, carrier restrictions, payment-provider requirements, platform requirements, or Apep Biolabs policies.

8. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for determining whether they are legally permitted and appropriately qualified to possess, receive, handle, store, and use a research material in their jurisdiction and research setting.

Apep Biolabs does not authorize a customer to engage in conduct prohibited by law simply because an order has been accepted or shipped.

9. Storage and Handling

Customers should follow product-specific and batch-specific storage and handling information supplied with the applicable research material.

Storage, refrigeration, stability, and handling instructions are provided to support preservation of research materials and do not indicate suitability for human or veterinary use.

10. Website Content and Research Information

Scientific or educational information appearing on the Apep Biolabs website is provided for general research and informational purposes. Discussion of published research does not constitute a claim that an Apep Biolabs product is safe, effective, approved, or appropriate for human or veterinary use.

Findings from cell studies, animal studies, observational research, or human research should not be treated as interchangeable, and research findings should be interpreted in the context of the underlying study.

11. Relationship to Other Policies

This Research Use Policy supplements the Apep Biolabs Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between this policy and applicable law, applicable law controls.

12. Regulatory Status

Labels, disclaimers, checkboxes, or customer acknowledgments do not by themselves determine a product's regulatory status or make an otherwise unlawful sale lawful. Apep Biolabs intends its marketing, product information, and business practices to remain consistent with the stated research-use purpose of products designated for research use.
